What did our audience think?

A fun-filled, sugar-fuelled, family-friendly pantomime adventure that reminds us ALL not to take candy from strangers (even if they wow you with a fabulous song and dance number!)

Hansel and Gretel is 7th production from Miles Leven and Lucy Sarah Doughty. The pair previously gained experience producing Pantomimes and Children’s Shows at ‘The Bull Theatre’ North London and are delighted to be presenting their first production in Bedford this Christmas. Miles gained his Producing experience at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama – MA Creative Producing, subsequently taking work to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as London venues such as Kings Head Theatre, Islington and Courtyard Theatre, Shoreditch. Lucy is currently studying at RCSSD also – MA Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media – and is looking forward to a successful career in the industry.

During my time at Bedford School I had the privilege of working with the Drama department to mount this fantastic production of cult classic musical ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’.

I was able to design a single space scenic design that became the inside and outside of the shop and worked with scenic builders to realise our vision.
